Schedler Mack Insurance has its roots in Coeur d’Alene clear back to 1939. Bill Quarles started the agency just prior to being called to duty in World War II. Being a one-man shop, Bill relied on the friendship and patriotism of one of his competitors to run the agency while he was away at war. Some years later Doug Schedler joined the agency as a partner. Through Doug’s wisdom and dedication the business grew and prospered. The years saw many changes in North Idaho as well as the insurance industry. As the agency thrived, Bill Mack and Stan Schedler joined as partners with that agency.
